Target:

Primary school students with basic Makecode knowledge for micro:bit

​

Contents:

Have a special micro:bit-ed Christmas!

​

Students will learn how to add the neopixel extension in Makecode and then code the Christmas LED tree. At the same time, we can code a Christmas song playing on the Snow buzzer. We will also explain the Large PIN and make a simple circuit on micro:bit.

*Participants must bring their own laptop (Windows/Mac).

*This session will be conducted in Cantonese.

*The organizer will provide a micro:bit, Christmas LED tree, Snow buzzer, alligator clips and a USB cable.

*This workshop is supported by CityU Apps Lab and Classroom.

Each session will last 1 hour.
